This is a game myself and my family saw on the youtube channel Table Top, my dad was immediately interested in it because this can be a co-op game and there would be no backstabbing like in other games we have played. The idea behind this game is you need to work in a group to recruit various heroes from the marvel universe to defeat the selected villain and that villains henchmen. This game can be played by one up to five players, you can play this competitively by trying to defeat the most amount of villains and henchmen.
Initially this game seemed very complicated and the set up was very long however I think with more plays we will get used to it and it will become less time consuming. The cards in your hand have different abilities, you can have recruitment or fighting or some heroes have other abilities. The game starts off slow but once you have added a few heroes into your hand it gets interesting.
After the game I thought it was good, its does take a while and you need to make sure everyone playing stays in the game as the amount of people playing dictates the amount of henchmen your fighting throughout the game. The best thing about it is that it has so many parts and cards it is unlikely you’ll play two games that are exactly the same, there are so many random variables its highly unlikely.
I hope you enjoyed this review, let me know if you would like another one of if there are any games myself and the family should try.
